Well, we have been live for a week. The user base is growing fast and we are getting solid feedback from it. We wanted to thank Techcrunch for the positive review they did on us (posted on 10/06). A lot of other blogs and publications picked up the story, both here in the
Many of our new users have been very enthusiastic about the Sharing part of SimplyBox. We are certainly seeing a lot of traffic being generated as a result of users Box & Sending items to friends/colleagues. Some users have asked if they can share boxes with friends that do not have an account with SimplyBox. And the answer is: ABSOLUTELY! All a user needs to do is to click on the Share option of the menu bar and to type the e-mail address of the user or non-user. If it is a non-user, he or she will receive an e-mail from SimplyBox with an invitation to visit the box that is being shared. And basically that box becomes “public” and can be viewed by anyone that has its URL address.
We are working on a whole set of improvements to be released in the following weeks. And many of these improvements will be related to sharing – making it easier and more powerful.
