We Are Listening!
Over the last few weeks we have gotten a lot of excellent feedback from a lot of our users. And we are very thankful to all of you that are taking the time to share your thoughts and ideas with us. As a result of some of the suggestions and requests we received, we issued an update for Firefox and Internet Explorer users. The update includes:
- Keyboard shortcut to invoke Box and Save
- Keyboard shortcut to invoke Box and Send
The update also includes the following new functionality for Firefox users only:
- Trigger SimplyBox menu from a single statusbar button
- Trigger SimplyBox menu from a single button in the Firefox chrome
To change your sign on preferences, or any of the new options for accessing SimplyBox without the toolbar, click on the Settings button as shown below:
From the settings screen, you may configure your options for triggering boxing with or without the toolbar:
If you would like a single SimplyBox button in the Firefox “chrome” area, go to the Firefox “View” menu, then choose “Toolbars” and “Customize”. In the dialog, scroll down to find the SimplyBox icon, and drag it to the desired location, as shown:

We will continue to listen to our users and to improve our solution.
Thank you!
Think Inside the Box …
Hi
Thanks
this is a very cool cutting edge tool and I love it already. I will be mentioning it in my next post
One thing that would be cool is to have one box that everyone can see sort of like a community mash up box :)searchable of course
anyway I like it and it’s unique and cool and I see it all
Thanks again
Thanks for the comments! Actually we have something very much like what you describe. When you Share a box (from the Share menu inside your box), you can allow your friends or the entire world to see it and share comments, add stuff, etc. We think this will be a really cool use for SimplyBox, but unfortunately it’s a little bit hidden right now. We are working on an update for the UI as we speak, so it will make it more obvious. Next will come more tie-ins to other places like your Blogs, Facebook, etc. So far today, you can publish a shared box as a URL or an RSS feed. But it’s great to get more ideas for the next iterations!
